A match means the words fit what you asked for. It is not proof the job is real, so never pay anyone to apply, and use the "Was this relevant?" link on any alert that looks wrong.
Questions
Is it free for job seekers?
Yes. Employers and recruiters pay to send a post; the people it reaches pay nothing.
Will employers see my email or my CV?
No. Relayvant keeps no CV, and a post reaches you without the employer learning your address. If you reply, your reply goes through a masked address too, so they see your message and never your email.
How many emails will I get?
Only one per post that matches what you wrote, and at most 3 a week for a job alert (7 for casual and day work) unless you change that number yourself. Nothing arrives on a quiet week.
Where do the jobs come from?
From employers and recruiters who send their own posts through Relayvant. They are not copied from other job sites.
What if a post looks like a scam?
Job posts that charge applicants a registration, training, medical or placement fee are blocked before they send, and requests for ID or passport copies up front are flagged for a person to review. Scammers reword things, so a match still means the words fit, not that the offer has been checked — never pay to apply, and use the "Was this relevant?" link on any alert that looks wrong.
Can I watch for more than one kind of job?
Yes. Each alert is separate, so a nursing alert and a care-work alert can run side by side. You can create up to 10 a day.
Do I need an account?
Not to browse. To save an alert you sign in with Google, and you must be 18 or older.
Which countries does it work in?
Relayvant Jobs is launching in Kenya, so that is where employers are posting first. An alert can name any country, and other markets get their own launch — and their own employers — in turn.
Can I rule some jobs out?
Yes. List the words or phrases that make a post wrong for you — "commission only", "night shift" — and a post that says any of them never reaches you, however well the rest of it fits. They match exactly, so "sales" rules out a post that says sales but not one that only says sale.
Can I write my own instead of using a template?
Yes. A template is only a starting point; every word is editable, and you can write any alert at all, not only a job.
I am hiring. How do I reach people?
Write your post once, preview how many job alerts it matches ($2.00 per preview), then pay $0.10 for each person it is sent to. A new sender reaches up to 10 people per post. Once staff have verified you as an employer you can reach up to 100: attach your company's registration certificate to your first post, or write to [email protected].
We are a university or public body. Is there a charge?
No. University careers offices and public bodies send job posts free. Write to [email protected] from your organisation's address, and once staff have confirmed who you are, your sends are covered.
